I grew up in Wisconsin, went to college a bit in my home city of Oshkosh. Then I moved to Sarasota, FL because I had some family down there and found a great Art College I ended up being accepted to. Things didn't work out (school was too expensive) and I moved back home with intentions of trying out the east coast. I was thinking Maryland. However, I've only been to Boston, Mass once and that's the extent of my Eastern travels. I'm looking for experienced people with real answers, not articles they found, about where the best places to live. I am 21 years old. I like big city life (love Chicago), but also small town feel . Not much of a party gal so club life doesn't really interest me. And when I say best places, I mean safe, somewhat affordable (and yes, I am aware that no where around that area of the US is affordable, but I'm looking to rent, not buy). Also, I plan on going back to school to continue with Photo Journalism, so a nice school would be great too....
